CARICOM Regional Statistics

The Statistics Sub-programme of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat compiles statistics on the member countries of CARICOM. These data are submitted to the Secretariat by the member states themselves, either by the national statistics offices or the central banks, depending on the nature of the data. Occasionally, in the absence of data from the member states, third party sources would be utilised.


World Bank Statistics

World Bank Open Data provides free and open access to data about development in countries around the globe.


FAOSTAT

FAOSTAT is the comprehensive database of crop and livestock statistics by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).


Trade

The CARICOM Trade Information System TradSys Online 

Tradsys Online is a facility that allows users to access the Regional Trade Information System, and provides two tiers of access to the regional database

  • Tier One provides access to all data available up to 2 digits of the HS and SITC and is accessible by all users (researchers, private sector and marketing personnel, investors, media etc)
  • Tier Two provides access to data at the most disaggregated level and is accessible by privileged users through the use of password

Free registration is required.


 

ITC TRADE MAP 

Trade Map is created by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva, Switzerland and  provides - in the form of tables, graphs and maps - indicators on export performance, international demand, alternative markets and competitive markets, as well as a directory of importing and exporting companies.


Trade Map covers 220 countries and territories and 5300 products of the Harmonized System. The monthly, quarterly and yearly trade flows are available from the most aggregated level to the tariff line level.
